  Applebee's is a great place to eat in the Shoals. The food's good and the staff is usually friendly. They're often fairly slow though. I find it hard to get in and out of here in an hour for lunch. At dinner, other than the wait times, I usually have a pleasant experience. It's sometimes a bit noisy in here what with the bar being right in the middle of the restaurant. Kinda hard to get away from all the shouting and such from people watching games or just being a bit too inebriated. They have some unique items on the menu that keep me coming back. If it wasn't for it being so loud on some occasions and generally being slow I'd give them 5 stars.

  One of my favorite restaurants in town. Great lunch options, quick and cheap for the quality of food. Service is great. Love the chicken cavatappi.
